We have a strong focus on structural concrete repair using a product called Elephant Armor.
Duties
- Assist with interpreting and implementing construction plans and technical drawings to support project execution
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Operate power tools and basic equipment for site preparation, demolition, or assembly tasks
- Support erosion control efforts by installing barriers, silt fences, and other protective measures to safeguard the environment during construction activities
- Conduct routine equipment repair and maintenance to ensure tools and machinery are safe and functional
- Follow all workplace safety regulations, including OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection protocols, and climbing safety procedures
- Support heavy lifting operations while maintaining proper technique to prevent injuries
Requirements
- Prior experience in industrial or heavy construction environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment repair and troubleshooting issues as needed
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards, respiratory protection, and fall prevention measures
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting, manual handling, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working at heights
- Strong commitment to workplace safety with a focus on adhering to all safety regulations at all times
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
