What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media & CRM Intern position at Warrior Golf Academy?
Warrior Golf Academy (WGA) is seeking a proactive, creative, and mission-driven Social Media & CRM Intern to support our growing digital presence within the nonprofit, Military, and golf industries. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in digital storytelling, social media strategy, CRM management, and community engagement while contributing to a cause that directly impacts Veterans, First Responders, and their families.
With a current reach of 30,000 followers and growing, this role provides meaningful responsibility, mentorship, and portfolio-ready experience. The intern will work closely with leadership and marketing partners to help shape and share the story of Warrior Golf Academy across digital platforms.
What You’ll DoSocial Media & Content Creation
- Assist in developing and executing engaging content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
- Support content scheduling and campaign execution using social media management tools
- Participate in social listening to monitor engagement, trends, and community feedback
- Assist with event-based content creation including photos, short videos, and recap posts
CRM & Community Engagement
- Support CRM organization, tagging, and segmentation of donors, volunteers, partners, and members
- Assist with email campaigns, outreach, and engagement workflows
- Help track engagement metrics and prepare basic performance summaries
Creative & Campaign Support
- Collaborate on graphics, visuals, and short-form video content (experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus)
- Support SEO and keyword research to improve content visibility
- Assist with blog posts, press releases, and digital storytelling related to events and mission impact
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and community growth

- Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools preferred)
- Interest in nonprofit work, Veterans’ initiatives, community engagement, or sports marketing
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel occasionally for major events is a plus
