What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at Warren, Washington, Albany Counties ARC?
One of our residential programs located in Queensbury, NY has a full-time, 37-hour Direct Support
Professional (DSP) position available. The schedule for this position is Sunday 9am-10pm, MondayWednesday 2p-10p. The rate of pay is $20.00/hour longevity, and this is an hourly position. DSPs provide
care and support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This includes helping with daily
routines like getting ready, cooking, cleaning, administering medications, and enjoying community activities
together. Some support may also involve personal care such as toileting, lifting/transferring, or assisting with
medical needs (like g-tubes). Its meaningful work that makes a real differencewhile having fun along the
way!

18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
A valid drivers license that meets WWAARC insurability standards.
No experience necessary
