Lead HVAC Installer

Warren-Hay Mechanical Contractors is looking for a Lead HVAC Installer to join our team! You will install heating and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. Lead Installers assist with oversight of junior-level Installers.

Responsibilities

• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• May cut, build, and install ductwork and/or furnaces, as needed
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Guide, advise, and assist with oversight of the installation process on assigned team(s)
• Assist with mentoring and training entry-level Installer's

Qualifications

• 4 years of previous HVAC installation experience
• Freon certifications
• Knowledge of HVAC control wiring, refrigeration, gas piping, system start-up, and operating procedures
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Strong customer service and customer interaction skills on job sites
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in a supervisory, management, or mentoring capacity is a plus
