LPN Emergency Room, 2nd Shift

Warren General Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Emergency Department team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide hands-on care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where every shift makes a difference.

Full-Time | Mid-Shift

Key Tasks:

• Deliver quality patient care within scope of practice; under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Passing medications and perform IV therapy in accordance with hospital standards.
• Provide direct patient care and perform procedures such as:
• Respiratory treatments
• Dressing changes
• NG tube care
• EKGs
• Monitor and document vital signs, telemetry, and other data accurately in the EMR.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Uphold all hospital and nursing standards to ensure excellent, compassionate care.

Qualifications:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
• BLS Certification
• Crisis Management Certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Two (2) years of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $23.77 - $26.47 per hour
