What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Services Administrator position at Warren Averett?
Warren Averett is seeking an IT professional for our internal Information Technology department in Firm’s Gulf Coast Offices. The role is to provide a focal point for internal staff for hardware or software support. The ideal candidate will be able to provide excellent client service while receiving and responding to staff inquiries and requests for technical assistance, provides possible solutions, and provides assistance and support to the Manager of Technology Services and other department staff.
Responsibilities
- Respond to technical support requests and maintain helpdesk documentation
- Answer support calls and assist in troubleshooting end user IT issues
- Support system deployments and upgrades for new and existing staff
- Research and recommend new technologies and improvements
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure network security
- Prepare documentation and knowledgebase articles to support our AI tool
Requirements
- Associate degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience
- A Certification or similar IT certification
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and remote connectivity
- Ability to prioritize, work independently and collaboratively, and explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Up to 2 years of IT support experience in a corporate environment preferred
Travel
- Occasional travel required to support other offices along the Gulf Coast
