Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced General Superintendent with strong capabilities in both land development and vertical home construction to support our upcoming communities in the Inland Empire, Orange and Los Angeles County. The General Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all onsite operations from initial land development through final home delivery. This includes managing horizontal improvements, utility coordination, inspections, schedule adherence, trade partner performance, safety, quality, and home readiness. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a production homebuilding environment, understands the full land-to-keys lifecycle, and can actively partner with Warmington’s internal teams—Construction, Sales, Purchasing, Forward Planning, Customer Care, and Executive Leadership—to meet community and company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Land Development
• Manage all land development activities, including grading, wet and dry utilities, joint trench, paving, and offsite improvements
• Coordinate closely with civil engineers, surveyors, local agencies, utility companies, and inspectors
• Monitor and maintain land development schedules; provide weekly updates and flag risks early
• Ensure compliance with SWPPP, dust control, and BMPs while maintaining a clean, professional site
• Support agency sign-offs, punch lists, and bond exoneration requirements
Vertical Construction
• Oversee construction of production homes from foundation through final Homeowner Walk
• Manage trade partners to Warmington’s established scopes, quality standards, and cycle times
• Maintain a detailed master schedule and drive accountability to keep starts and deliveries on pace
• Ensure homes are clean, complete, and inspection-ready at every milestone
Teamwork & Communication
• Serve as the primary day-to-day field leader, fostering strong trade relationships built on respect, clear expectations, and follow-through
• Communicate proactively with internal departments regarding inspections, utilities, delays, and milestones
• Uphold Warmington’s standards of professionalism, teamwork, and homeowner experience
• Contribute to a positive, solutions-oriented culture across divisions
