- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, blenders, and food processors.
- Follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques to prevent contamination and ensure freshness.
- Assist with food production for special events or catering needs within the daycare setting.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a similar food service role within childcare, healthcare, or hospitality environments.
- Strong knowledge of menu planning tailored for children’s nutritional needs.
- Culinary experience in fine dining or high-volume food production environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and knife skills.
- Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
