Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Clover.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with precision and care, adhering to food safety and handling standards.
- Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
- Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred.
- Experience with POS systems such as Clover.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
