Maintenance Worker - WPV

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for preventative and routine maintenance and the upkeep of residential buildings, grounds and equipment to maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors. This position is also responsible for general cleaning of the entire building.

Schedule: Full-Time: 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Compensation: $20.00/hr-$22.00/hr - Based on Experience

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to follow oral and written instruction
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Ability to demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Completes all general maintenance of the community (basic plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, unit inspections, painting, work orders, carpentry and maintenance support).
• Performs preventative maintenance.
• Ensures and performs daily cleaning of entire building.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Effectively read and interpret documents and instructions.
• Capacity to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve.
