As a Senior Financial Analyst at Ware Malcomb, you will play a key role in driving financial visibility and supporting strategic decision-making across the firm. You will partner with project managers, operations, and leadership teams to analyze performance, enhance reporting accuracy, and strengthen financial accountability. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial analysis, data modeling, and system administration while contributing to the growth and success of a dynamic AEC environment.
Your Role
- Review and analyze income statements, including variance analysis and performance commentary for leadership
- Designer, maintain, and enhance Power BI data models, DAX measures, and interactive dashboards to provide timely and actionable insights across the firm
- Act as a Deltek Vantagepoint system administrator, managing security roles, workflows, and data integrity, while serving as a liaison with IT for upgrades and troubleshooting
- Develop and deliver ad-hoc reports and financial models to support project performance reviews, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
- Partner with project managers, operations, and leadership teams to improve project visibility, reporting accuracy, and financial accountability
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or a related discipline preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Power BI experience with data modeling, DAX formula language, and report building preferred
- AEC experience preferred
- Deltek Vantagepoint administration experience preferred
- Understanding of financial statements and accounting practices

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, licensing, project specialty/complexity and work location. At Ware Malcomb, certain roles are bonus eligible.
