Duties
- Assist in planning and executing fundraising events, including logistics coordination, volunteer management, and event promotion using digital marketing tools.
- Manage relationships with donors, volunteers, and community partners through effective communication and engagement strategies.
- Support the creation of compelling grant proposals and fundraising campaigns utilizing proposal writing skills and grant proposal writing expertise.
- Maintain accurate records of donations, donor interactions, and campaign data within CRM software.
- Conduct research on prospective donors, foundations, and funding opportunities to inform strategic planning efforts.
- Coordinate email marketing campaigns using platforms to promote events, campaigns, and organizational updates.
- Coordinate with the media specialist to enhance public relations efforts and increase visibility.
- Support budgeting processes for fundraising events and campaigns while tracking expenses to ensure financial accountability.
- Contribute to database management by updating donor information, tracking engagement metrics, and generating reports for leadership review.
- Requirements
- Prior experience or coursework in event planning, nonprofit management, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in digital marketing platforms.
- Excellent written communication skills for proposal writing, grant applications, and public relations materials.
- Proficiency with CRM software.
- Ability to organize multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices, donor stewardship strategies, and volunteer management techniques.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial tracking related to events or campaigns.
