Job Summary
We are in pursuit of adjusters with integrity, intelligence, and energy - with emphasis on integrity; and provide the tools & support to help you thrive as an adjuster. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing claims, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the claims process. The Adjuster will play a crucial role in fraud prevention and detection, utilizing strong analytical skills to evaluate claims effectively.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and investigate insurance claims to determine validity and coverage under applicable policies.
- Conduct thorough analysis of claims, including auto estimating and reviewing documentation.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants while maintaining a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with workers' compensation law and related regulations throughout the claims process.
- Utilize financial software to document findings, track claims progress, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate efficient claim resolution.
- Identify potential fraud cases and implement appropriate measures for prevention and detection.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for each claim to ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in claims adjusting or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate assessment of claims.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
