Position Summary
The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during the assigned shift, ensuring quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff accountability.
Responsibilities
Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, STNAs)
Ensure proper staffing levels and coverage for the shift
Monitor resident conditions and respond to clinical changes
Handle admissions, discharges, and physician communications
Oversee medication administration and treatment completion
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Manage and document incidents, concerns, and follow-ups
Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to staff
Communicate effectively with DON and interdisciplinary team
Qualifications
Active RN license in the state of Ohio
Prior experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred
Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred
Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
Ability to manage emergencies and make quick decisions
Schedule
Night Shift (Full-Time)
Rotating weekends as required
