The Opportunity
We're looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Field Services Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of WAND Digital at a client's site, ensuring our digital solutions are installed flawlessly and their team is set up for success from day one. This role is a perfect fit for someone who thrives on-site, enjoys solving problems in real-time, and takes pride in seeing a project through to completion.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise On-Site Installations: You'll oversee all aspects of on-site installation, working with both our partners and the client's team to ensure a smooth and timely deployment.
- Coordinate Client Needs: Act as the primary point of contact on-site, coordinating client requests and executing changes to ensure the final product aligns perfectly with their vision.
- Manage the Punch List: Meticulously track and resolve all open items, ensuring no detail is overlooked before project sign-off.
- Train & Implement: Conduct on-site training sessions with the client's staff, ensuring they are confident and capable of managing their new digital system. You'll be the expert who teaches them how to make it their own.
- Produce Project Debriefs: After each project, you'll create a detailed debrief for the internal team, sharing insights and lessons learned to help us continuously improve our processes.
- Help Improve Onboarding: Your unique on-site perspective will be invaluable. You'll contribute to improving our overall onboarding strategy and project management process.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 3 years of experience in a field services or project management role, preferably in a technology or digital signage environment.
- Communication Skills: You must be an excellent communicator, able to build rapport quickly with clients and effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Problem Solver: A strong ability to think on your feet, solve problems in real-time, and handle unexpected challenges with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Travel Readiness: The ability to travel extensively to client sites across North America (75% or more).
- Technical Aptitude: A solid understanding of digital hardware, software installation, and network troubleshooting.
