ACCOUNTING ANALYST

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SAP systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and controls.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial records and reporting.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial data.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry Experience: Experience in a medium-sized company or similar industry preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Financial Reporting: Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger, ensuring that all journal entries are accurate and timely. Review and analyze GL Accounts.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: analyze and reconcile customers and vendors accounts. Help with the analysis of customer past due accounts.
• Cash Management: help monitoring daily transactions, and help reconciling bank accounts.
• Month-End and Year-End Closing: Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accounted for and reported properly.
• Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis on financial statements, highlighting key trends, discrepancies, and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Support Management: Assist the CFO and management with ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as needed.
