What are the responsibilities and job description for the ESY Site Coordinator-Elementary position at Waltham Public Schools?
Site Coordinator is needed to supervise staff and oversee the end of the year services for students with Special Education Needs. Responsibilities of the positions include, but are not limited to: reviewing student IEPs to ensure appropriate services are being provided and matching curriculum to IEP goals, as well as collecting data to ensure compliance and to quantify results. Additional duties include recruiting staff, scheduling, on-site problem solving and coordinating end-of summer responsibilities such as participation summary report dissemination.
Dates of program - July 7 - August 7
Program Hours - 9:00am - 2:00pm
$9750 (includes pre/post work at the rate of $50/hour) $50 for 7 hours a day x 20 days 55 hours of pre/post program planning, including but not limited to interviewing, hiring staff, collecting curricula, scheduling and organizing classroom organization, dissemination of participation summary reports.
