Responsibilities
- Focus primarily on customer service - internal and external customers.
- Timely delivery/pickup of roll-off dumpsters, with an attempt to increase efficiency and productivity while providing “extra-ordinary” service.
- Consult/call the “site contact person” first with questions and/or directions; consult/call the Logistics Supervisor: Dumpsters/Trailers if on-site concerns are not resolved.
- Safely perform daily duties and assignments.
- Adhere to all safety protocols at disposal sites and at the yard and shop.
- Complete the truck’s pre- and post-inspection safety log and address concerns before leaving the yard.
- Perform required weekly truck maintenance and repairs, and report any further concerns to the Logistics Supervisor: Dumpsters/Trailers.
- Deliver/Pick Up roll-off dumpsters according to Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Complete assigned work on a daily basis.
- Complete electronic notes on your mobile device in a timely manner. If there is an unusual situation, document with detailed instructions, such as the physical location of the dumpster, etc.
- Submit required paperwork, landfill bills, or payments before leaving for the day.
- Learn and become proficient company electronic systems.
- Load roll-off dumpsters for the following day based on the assigned route.
- Dispose of waste in the dumpster before leaving for the day.
- Assist your team to be more productive in their routes.
- Attend required meetings on time.
- Build trusting relationships with members of your team in order to maintain cohesiveness and morale.
- Promote the financial health of business by giving sales leads to the sales department.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or requested to ensure the overall success of Walters Services, Inc., such as portable toilet service/delivery routes, moving equipment, cleaning, etc.

- Dependable performance of job assignments: overall accuracy, efficiency and quality of the duties and functions assigned
- Exemplary attendance record: employee has not taken excessive time off and put a burden on others to back-up his/her responsibilities
- Following all established safety rules, regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Cooperation with all other teams and departments to accomplish the goals and objectives of Walters Services, Inc.
- Quality of pickup and/or delivery, and accurate documentation of all dumpster locations
- Assisting teammates with workload
- Pursuing Greatness with Humility - participation in regular training to improve and accomplish personal and company rocks and goals
- Professional attire and appearance. Adhere to the Walters Services, Inc. dress code.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.50 - $25.50 per hour
