JOB DUTIES:
- Complete assigned service route on a daily basis while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency measures.
- Customer service including phone calls and face to face contact with customers.
- Complete pre and post trip truck inspection safety logs.
- Complete electronic notes on work tablet in a timely manner.
- Submit required paperwork and/or customer payments before leaving for the day.
- Dispose of waste, and refill your supplies and water tank before leaving for the day.
- Maintain equipment and truck cleanliness.
- Attend required meetings.
- Assist your team to be more productive in their routes.
- Build trusting relationships with members of your team in order to maintain team cohesiveness and morale.
- Give any sales leads to sales department.
- Learn electronic systems used by Walters Services.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or requested to ensure the overall success of Walters Services, Inc., such as moving equipment, deliver/pick up toilets, etc.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proficient in reading and interpreting maps and GPS directions, navigation equipment and software
- Proficient in using an tablet with the driver’s web station to track routes and manage information
- Strong customer service and first-hand dealings with customers in the field
- Strong pre-planning and organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication, flexibility, decision-making, problem solving, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize your route and maintain strict schedule deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Self-starter, the ability to function with minimal supervision and handle a busy working environment
- The ability to work well with others and address situations as they arise in a professional and diplomatic manner
- Confidentiality with company and personnel information
