Walter USA is looking for a:

Customer Service Representative I

Customer Service Representative I is responsible for supporting the sales team by driving accurate and professional services to all Walter customers internal, and external, by managing responses to inquiries, processing orders, and providing excellent customer service. This entry-level position requires strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Hours for this position are 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Key Performance Areas

  • Accurately respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat. Coordinate information regarding orders, standard quotes and related questions with all relevant areas of the company to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Process customer orders and ensure accurate data entry, at required volume.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues and complaints.
  • Assist team members as needed to ensure prompt quality service and/or assist with other duties as assigned by the department manager.
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks.
  • Maintain professional demeanor in all types of verbal and written communication to portray WUS’s world class customer service attitude.
  • Implement company services, policies, philosophies, and directives accurately and professionally when communicating with customers, distributors, and our sales force to meet WUS’s sales goals.
  • Provide input into the customer service process to support problem resolution and to ensure efficient and quality service.
  • Support and participate in team continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in team coverage of phones and misc. email inbox
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by manager.

Your Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of sales and customer service principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP (SAP preferred) software.
  • Ability to process a large volume of work efficiently and focus to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Available to work flexible hours to cover required business hours. Additional hours as required to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to travel 5%
