Responsibilities
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly, clearing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining space
- Perform thorough cleaning duties, including sanitizing surfaces, floors, and dining areas to uphold health standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, tableware, and equipment following safe lifting practices
- Support food handling and service by delivering items from the kitchen to tables with care and professionalism
- Maintain clear internal communication with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs swiftly
- Ensure proper sanitation and food safety procedures are followed during all cleaning and serving activities
- Assist with catering setups and breakdowns when required, supporting overall restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
- Knowledge of sanitation, food safety standards, and proper table setting techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Experience in hospitality or catering environments is a plus but not required
