Barista and Cashier

Walt Grace Vintage, Miami’s favorite vintage car & guitar gallery, has added a world-class cafe to its already jaw-dropping customer experience, and is looking for a few amazing people to join the family and to make the cafe experience as fantastic as the rest of the gallery.

The cafe is located inside of Walt Grace Vintage—the mind-blowing Car & Guitar gallery in Wynwood, and serves coffee, teas, pastries and other grab-and-go food items. We bake most offerings in-house, and in our opinion, the city's best coffee!

We are hiring for all positions, but this listing is for the Barista/Cashier

Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming customers by determining their coffee interests and needs.
• Educate customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions.

• Preparing and selling coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, expresso, expresso lungo, caffe latte, and cappuccino.
• Generating revenue by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
• Maintaining inventory by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar.
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Maintaining safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.

• Enhance our reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements:

• Work experience as a Barista
• Hands-on experience with professional coffee/espresso machines/grinders
• Availability to work within opening hours (including weekends and holidays)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Customer service attitude
