Facilitating a safe dive operation for Animal care cast, Dive Quest, Aqua Tours programs at The Seas. Carry out commercial diving operations for maintaining the Seas aquarium and all side pools located around and connected to the main tank, coral scrubbing and routine underwater maintenance. Cleaning animal pools at Disney animal Kingdom. Diving the seas lock out tube presentations. Provide topside support for all dive teams. Setting up dive stations. Preforming the task of the designated person in charge. This role will require completed training up to recreational divemaster within 6 months of accepting this role and internal cast to be trained up to light dress commercial diving standards within 6 months of accepting this role.

- Editing video of dive for guests
- Facilitator for Dive Quest and Aqua Tours (greeter for guest)
- Safety support for character diving
- Coral cleaning and tank maintenance
- Lock out diver
- Designated person in charge for dives
- Safety diver for all teams
- Disney Trainer (this is for Disney type of programs)
- Skills evaluations for Checkout dives for new divers or annual skill checks
- Maintaining equipment inventory on dive equipment and non-diving equipment
- Day to day diving and pool cleaning
- Dive equipment testing, Dive Rigs, Deck whips, other
- Maintaining Log book requirements on equipment
- Setting up dive stations
- Taking air tests on breathing air compressors
- Setting up pumps and hoses
- Diving, Tending, Dive station operator, Standby diver and Dedicated person in charge
Basic Qualifications :
- Demonstrated strong Guest Service skills
- Must have a current drivers License
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Demonstrated strong presentation skills
- Must be comfortable working underwater for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work with limited supervision
- Desire to implement best practices, with focus on streamlined procedures and standardization where applicable
- Ability to build effective and responsive interpersonal relationships at all levels in an organization
- Ability to successfully pass the Disney’s annual dive physical
- Demonstrated strong verbal skills

Required Education :
- High school diploma, or equivalent. Completed a formal course of instruction at a recognized commercial diving school, military training, or equivalent consisting of at least 625 hours of instruction in surface supply diving and must have documented log book or equivalent
Preferred Education :
- Demonstrated computer proficiency within a windows environment
- Demonstrated background in dive equipment maintenance
- Demonstrated background in public speaking
- Certified scuba instructor
- Demonstrated computer proficiency
- Divemaster rating by nationally recognized agency
