As a Bindery - Assistant, you will support the production of high-quality magazines, catalogs, and other print materials. Key Responsibilities
- Read and understand Bindery Department policies, procedures, and job tickets to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Follow verbal instructions from operators, leads, and managers to incorporate into daily responsibilities.
- Apply basic troubleshooting skills to address machine or process issues.
- Meet and exceed department production rates and efficiency goals.
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure print consistency and document results.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment, helping to ensure smooth operations and meeting production deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Basic proficiency in math and measuring tools.
- Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to stand for long periods (minimum of 12 hours per shift).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent light to moderate bending and walking.
