Job Summary:
As a Bindery - Operator III you will be responsible for the set up, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of applicable equipment. The equipment operated includes, but is not limited to: Cutters, Folders, Tippers, Sewers, Inserters, Reinforcers and Forklifts.
Required Systems/Applications:
- AS400 or Monarch
Essential Functions:
- Set up, run, and maintain assigned machinery.
- Troubleshoot assigned machinery according to company procedures and practices to assure efficiency and quality to meet the required production schedule.
- Read and understand the written information pertaining to the job.
- Strive to meet or exceed departmental and company goals.
- Interpret and apply department policies, procedures and job instructions accurately.
- Communicate effectively with incoming shift personnel to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Maintain accurate counts.
- Move and organize scheduled work for assigned machinery.
- Assist in training new Bindery Operators.
- Monitor production and quality to make recommendations on process improvements.
- All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 30 days in a Bindery role.
