Level II Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated a few Level II Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in law enforcement, military service, or security operations who are committed to maintaining a secure environment. The position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to contribute to the safety of our community through vigilant surveillance and proactive security measures.

Days/Hours:

Full time and part time position available.

Must be able to work weekdays and weekend

Sunday-Thursday

2nd Shift 2PM-10PM

3rd Shift 10PM-6AM

Duties

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or damage
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems and other security equipment
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified
• Enforce security policies and procedures, managing conflicts professionally and effectively
• Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations during shifts
• Assist with loss prevention strategies by identifying suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed during incidents
• Conduct routine checks of access points, doors, windows, and security systems to ensure operational integrity

Requirements

• Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security preferred
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; relevant training provided if necessary
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and professionally
• Ability to pass background checks and any required pre-employment screenings
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility for shifts during evenings or weekends as needed
• Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations is a plus
