Description:
Our client is currently seeking an Outpatient Clinical Therapist to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients ages 5 with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and crisis support as needed.
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation in compliance with OMH and OASAS requirements.
- Collaborate with medical providers and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate client care.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- New York State licensure required: LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R. Candidates with an MSW or MHC degree will also be considered.
- 2 years of experience in mental health and/or addiction treatment.
- Knowledge of DSM-5 disorders and substance use disorders.
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficient computer and EHR skills.
