Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Resident (Office) Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Organization and maintenance of project documents.
- Liaise between clients, contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers.
- Provide overall technical assistance with engineering-related issues.
- Tracking of the project timeline to ensure it is progressing according to schedule.
- Processing of change orders, progress payments, and contractor claims.
- Ensure the work completed is in compliance with all codes, standards, and regulations.
- Attend project meetings.
- Assist with reporting responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of Office Engineer experience with bridges and/or highways.
- Must have recent experience with Thruway projects and/ or NYSDOT.
- Required that a candidate be NICET certified at Level III or IV.
- Must be proficient with Site Manager.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have an active NYS driver’s license.
- Advanced proficiency with computers.
