Description:

Our client is currently seeking an Estimator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate understanding and execution of project requirements.
• Prepare competitive project bid estimates, including quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and complete bid package development.
• Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive database of vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to support procurement and bidding activities.
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate proposals with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms for goods and services.
• Coordinate with vendors and field teams to ensure material availability, timely deliveries, and consistent performance standards.
• Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment to support overall project planning and execution.
• Ensure project works under current industry standards.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in construction, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or related consumer trades.
• Willingness to get OSHA 10 certified
• Previous experience working with general contractors, architects, and engineers
• Associate's degree in mechanical engineering, construction, or completion of a technical trade school program is preferred.
• Prior experience with cost estimating.
• Proficiency with estimating software.
• Must be experienced with project planning.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite.
• Proven negotiation skills with vendors and subcontractors.
• Experience with data analysis is preferred,
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across project teams.
