What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Teacher position at Walnut Ridge Childcare Center?
We are seeking passionate and fun Summer Camp Teachers to join the best team ever. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children ages 5 years though 12 years.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Sumer Camp Director to implement age appropriate curriculum and activities
- Comply with Walnut Ridge policy and procedure as well as the State of Michigan licensing standards
- Provide high-quality childcare at all times
- Manage day-to-day care of children, including safety, activities, nutrition, and behavior
- Communicate with parents regarding day to day care
Requirements:
- Complete a comprehensive background check through the Child Care Background Check (CCBC) system
- Experience working in a licensed child care facility preferred
- Experience with children ages 5 years through 12 years
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
