Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Help educate parents and children on proper oral hygiene
- Provide calm, cheerful support to patients.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow efficiently, acting as a liaison between the dentist and patients.
- Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Handle administrative tasks such as medical coding, billing, and insurance verification when necessary.
- Support pediatric dentistry practices by providing compassionate care to young patients.
- Monday–Thursday schedule — no Fridays!
What We’re Looking For:
- Coronal Polish Certification – preferred
- Pediatric dental experience is a big plus!
- A friendly, positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Someone who genuinely loves working with children
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
- Experience in taking vital signs is beneficial for patient assessment.
- Background in working as a dental receptionist or similar roles will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in using various dental systems and technology.
