VISION:
The WCF Quality Assurance Personnel must have a Customer First mindset while ensuring all products meet food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role is responsible for identifying risks, acting, and preventing non-conforming products from reaching customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Actively enforce GMPs, SOPs, and Food Safety Systems (HACCP/HARPC) on the production floor
  • Identify non-conformances, initiate corrective actions, and document all deviations accurately
  • Make clear decisions to release, hold, or reject products based on specifications and food safety risks
  • Continuously monitor production, packaging, and sanitation to ensure compliance with standards
  • Perform and evaluate testing (pH, brix, moisture, water activity, sensory, etc.) to verify product quality
  • Execute environmental and ATP swabbing programs using proper technique and interpretation
  • Review critical records including:
o Time / temperature logs
o Production line paperwork
o Labels and packaging
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready records; support internal / external audits and mock recalls
  • Ensure QA equipment is calibrated, functioning properly, and ready to use
  • Communicate issues clearly and hold production accountable to food safety and quality standards
SUPPORTING TASKS:
  • Support new product development and R&D projects
  • Assisting with employee training and Food Safety onboarding initiatives
  • Mock recalls and monthly audit inspections for Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Assist with customer complaints by providing data, supporting investigations, and verifying corrective actions
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • This position is a full-time position – Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be willing and able to use the following equipment: Computer, Printer/Fax/Scanner
  • Must have working knowledge and be competent with Microsoft Office 365 software
  • Experience in Food Manufacturing or QA environment
  • Understanding and application of GMPs, SOPs, and HACCP/HARPC principles
  • Hands-on experience with quality testing methods
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize non-conformances, initiate corrective actions, and communicate issues immediately
  • Must be able to work independently on production floor, communicate clearly with production and sanitation
  • Must be willing to gain certification or re-certify in critical QA Systems
