Duties
- Provide attentive and loving care for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, diapering, and nap schedules
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, and learning exercises
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning tasks related to childcare and meal cleanup
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing tailored caregiving strategies
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants and toddlers
- Knowledge of childcare best practices, including preschool activities and early childhood development principles
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
- Ability to handle meal preparation safely and efficiently for young children
- Experience with caregiving for children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and other caregivers.
