Experienced Cat Sitter (Veterinary Background Required)

Cat Nanny Jess is a boutique, highly regarded cat sitting service based in Alexandria, VA. We provide in-home, veterinary-level care for cats, including seniors and medically complex cases.

This is a long-term, part-time role with the possibility of full time work. It is not gig work. We are intentionally building a small, stable team and are seeking experienced caregivers who value consistency, professionalism, and excellent feline care.

Hours: 15–25 hours per week

Shifts: Weekend and evening shifts available
Time off and schedule requests are easily managed through our scheduling system.

Qualifications

• Genuine love of cats
• Minimum 6–7 years veterinary assistant or veterinary technician experience
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Smartphone with data service
• Local to Alexandria, VA
• Able to pass a detailed background check
• Strong professional references
