We are seeking a dependable and organized Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team in a role that combines administrative coordination and clinical support.
Position Summary
The CMA will assist with prior authorizations, referrals, scans, and front desk operations, while also supporting clinical staff with patient care when needed. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, able to multitask, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage prior authorizations (PAs) and patient referrals
- Handle medical scans, documentation, and record management
- Assist with front desk responsibilities, including phone calls and patient check-in/check-out and other associated tasks.
- Support clinical workflow when needed, including:
- Rooming patients
- Taking vital signs
- Administering injections
- Maintain accurate documentation using EHR systems
- Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and providers professionally
- Assist with maintaining office supplies and supporting overall clinic operations
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Previous experience in both administrative and clinical medical office roles
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, patient-focused attitude
- Strong computer and EHR skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, and referrals
Physical Requirements

Starting at $16.00 per hour, based on experience.
