We're expanding across Texas and looking for motivated, people-centered Field Sales Executives to bring TellX to farmers' markets, local food shops, and specialty retailers throughout the state.
Job Overview
As a Field Sales Executive, you'll be the face of TellX in the field, working directly with small business owners to demonstrate how our platform can transform their customer engagement. This is not a desk job — you'll spend your time in the community, meeting business owners where they are at farmers markets, specialty shops, and local food businesses.
Perfect for college students who can work around class schedules or recent graduates looking to gain real-world sales experience while supporting local businesses.
What You'll Do: Daily Responsibilities
- Visit 5-10 small businesses per day including farmers market vendors, local farms, specialty food shops, independent grocery stores, food trucks, and small food manufacturers
- Conduct 10-15 ive product demonstrations per week minutes each) showing business owners how TellX works
- Build and maintain professional relationships with owners, managers, and key decision-makers
- Identify opportunities, overcome objections, and close sales with confidence
- Log all interactions and sales activities in our mobile-friendly CRM system
- Follow up with prospects via phone, email, and in-person visits
Event Representation
- Set up and staff TellX booths at weekend farmers markets (2-3 per month, typically Saturday/Sunday mornings)
- Represent TellX at local food festivals, fairs, and small business expos
- Attend Chamber of Commerce meetings and networking events as needed
Territory Management
- Plan daily routes to maximize face-time with prospects
- Research and identify new business opportunities in your assigned territory
- Provide feedback to the product team on customer needs and suggestions
- Report weekly on territory activity, pipeline, and closed deals
Compensation & Benefits: Base Pay
- Hourly Rate: $15.00/hour
- Annual Salary (Full-Time): $30,000 based on 40 hours/week
- Part-Time Options Available: 20-30 hours/week for current students
Pay: $20, $30,000.00 per year
