As our shipping & receiving clerk in League City, TX, you'll be a key member of the Keen Transport operations team, supporting operations of our high-productivity Equipment Processing Center.
Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Control documents for shipping and receiving
- Update all Incoming and outgoing equipment in proper database
- Inspection of incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
- Perform requests received from customers such as pictures, inspections, random checks, etc
- Assist with the inventory of machines, loose pieces, and all vendor materials
- Storage and preservation activities including but not limited to placing blocking under buckets and boom assemblies, machine exercise, checking anti-freeze levels, and basic fluid level checks.
- Perform quality assurance inspections for equipment as required.
- Assist yard staff and with the loading, unloading and movement of construction equipment as may be required.
Job Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Computer experience in SAP, Microsoft Office, and storage and inventory software
- This position requires walking for the purpose of physical inventory and load inspection in the yard, gathering or faxing of documents, and interaction with facility staff and drivers.
- Some bending, stooping, squatting, to visually inspect machines and locate serial numbers or other labels or markings associated with shipping and receiving.
- Must be able to operate business equipment including telephone, fax, copy machine, computer terminal, and calculator
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE
- Previous forklift experience
- Previous heavy construction equipment experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional shop/yard environment. Frequent exposure to the elements (such as dust, dirt, rain,) and chemicals (such as fumes and fluids) occur during operation of construction and agricultural equipment, cranes, forklifts, welding, painting, etc. This position will utilize standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printer/copiers.

The pay or salary range listed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum projected rate of pay for the specific position across our United States locations. Equally as important, as a team member, individual earnings may consider knowledge, skills, abilities, work location and related factors. The current starting salary for this position is $46,000.00. Wallenius Wilhelmsen team members may also be eligible for annual merit-based salary adjustments, and participation in competitive benefit programs. Some roles in the company may offer an additional annual bonus. Additional details on salary or pay ranges and benefits will be available through the interview and employment process. Salary or pay ranges are separate from bonus opportunities and/or benefit plans.
