We are looking for a Regional Senior Manager, to join our Supply Chain Solutions Development team. This newly created role will be pivotal in transforming complex customer needs into tailored, value-driven supply chain solutions. The position will contribute to Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s approach to supply chain solution development, actively contributing to the growth of our integrated solutions offering.
The role covers the Americas, with a hybrid schedule of 3 days a week in our Parsippany, NJ office location.

Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the regional (Americas) team of project leaders responsible for developing Supply Chain Solutions for customer opportunities
- Act as Senior Project Leader for the Americas based Global Accounts, reporting on status and recommendations to the senior management team
- Continuously contribute to and support professional project portfolio management across the global team of Supply Chain Solutions Development
- Assist in preparing responses to RFIs, RFQs, tenders, and contracts, ensuring high-quality and competitive submissions
- Collaborate with Sales Account teams to define and align long-term customer strategies based on customer needs
- Actively contribute to product development based on customer dialogue and feedback
- Maintain strong coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment in execution and delivery
- Turn global supply chain goals into clear, practical plans for the region, so we stay on track and deliver consistent results for our customers
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on regional customer trends, growth opportunities, and risk management, contributing to long-term business planning
- Development, retention and recruitment of team members
Job Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor's degree in business & administration, logistics, sales/ marketing, finance, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in global logistics and supply chain roles
- Proven and documented project management experience at the corporate level
- Solution/logistics network development experience in a global company, and preferably in the area of automotive logistics
- Experience in senior and/or global engagement with customers
- Start-up and “can-do” mentality and approach with a keen interest in exploring new and innovative solutions to industry and customer pain points
- Solid communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior external and internal stakeholders
- Ability to identify opportunities for innovation and growth, and to develop and execute strategies that align with business goals and objectives
