Civil Designer

Job Location: Dover Office - Dover, DE 19901

Wallace Montgomery is seeking experienced senior level Site & Civil designer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team focusing on site/civil projects with clients within the Mid-Atlantic region.

Essential Functions

• Supervise activities of multiple project managers, project teams and subconsultants.
• Manage projects, including development of design & preparation of plans, specs & estimates.
• Technical management of projects including monitoring schedules and budgets and implementing corrective actions.
• Financial management of on-call and other contracts and individual task assignments/projects. Duties include invoice review and facilitating corrective measures such as Task Order Modifications (TOMs), Extra Work Orders (EWOs), transfers, etc.
• Facilitate coordination across technical disciplines within the firm.
• Implement quality control/quality assurance reviews.
• Provide primary liaison with clients.
• Participation in the procurement of work opportunities.
• Provide service in professional societies and attend meetings.
• Serve as a mentor for young professionals.
• Support development of firm policies, standards, vision, and mission.
• Other duties may be assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Site & Civil Engineering Experience
• Experience with private and public agency projects in Delaware with specific emphasis on Site Design
• Experience preparing task proposals
• AutoCAD experience
