Position Summary
The Account Manager for Promo & Apparel plays a vital role in making our customers' lives easier by serving as their primary point of contact for branded merchandise solutions. This position is responsible for overseeing the execution of projects, ensuring consistent delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction. The role blends proactive sales and relationship management with detailed project coordination, working cross-functionally with internal teams to drive revenue, ensure program success, and achieve operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Develop, enhance, and manage ongoing client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for project/event work to ensure on-time delivery, within scope, and with consistent quality.
- Consultative Sales: Understand client needs, brand objectives, and budget constraints to recommend relevant and creative product solutions.
- Sales Execution: Create and present virtual mockups, quotes, and product presentations. Proactively follow up on open opportunities to drive order conversion and client satisfaction.
- Proactive Communication: Keep clients informed with proactive communication regarding job status, production updates, inventory needs, and timelines.
- Project & Program Coordination: Collaborate closely with sourcing, production, and kitting departments to ensure accurate pricing, product availability, and seamless execution of program orders.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage component inventory levels for client programs, coordinating with relevant teams as needed.
- Systems & Record Keeping: Log all sales activity, client communications, and quoting history in commonsku. Maintain organized records of production details and project samples.
- Problem Resolution: Act as a key resource for issue resolution, taking ownership to ensure a positive customer experience and foster internal accountability.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current on product trends, seasonal offerings, and branded merchandise best practices. Identify and suggest new products or process improvements to better meet client needs and align with our mission.
- Team Collaboration: Assist with campaigns, email outreach, and support for program launches, embodying our core value of caring and collaboration.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or project coordination, preferably within the promotional products or printing industry.
- A positive attitude and a strong customer service orientation with a proven ability to build trusting, long-term relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective time management and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and adapt to new applications and systems like commonsku.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- This role operates in a general office environment.
