We are seeking a high-energy, adaptable Structural Engineer (IE or PE I) to join our fast-paced design team. This is a critical backfill role perfect for an engineer who thrives
in a dynamic environment, loves variety, and wants a fast-tracked path to client management. In this role, you won't just be sitting behind a screen running isolated calculations. You will immediately dive into high-volume projects, dealing intimately with existing structures, building modifications, and new additions. If you love seeing your work move quickly from design to reality and want to transition into a client-facing project manager role within your first 12–24 months, this is the place to do it.
Annual Base Salary: $86,000 - $101,000

Responsibilities
- Modify & Adapt: Evaluate existing buildings and engineer structural solutions for additions, renovations, and complex modifications.
- Manage the Flow: Keep track of multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met.
- Leverage Tech: Utilize Excel-driven tools and internal databases to streamline your workflows, analyses, and documentation.
- Collaborate & Grow: Start by working closely with internal design teams, with the goal of quickly stepping up to interface directly with architects and clients.
- Typical daily tasks will include running calculations, marking up drawings, reviewing shop submittals, and answering field and vendor questions.
- Opportunity to do light traveling to scope existing structures and/or observe new construction when needed.
- 4–10 years of structural engineering experience.
- Proven, hands-on experience with building structures and modern building codes. (Candidates without dedicated building design experience will not be considered).
- Strong computer skills, comfort navigating software/databases, and advanced proficiency in Excel.
- High-level organizational skills, a proactive attitude (not afraid to ask questions), and the ability to adapt to short project deadlines.
- Experience with Revit, a background working in high-volume production or retail- paced firms, and familiarity with structural analysis software are a plus.
