What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Assembler position at Wallace Building Products Corp.?
Wallace Building Products is seeking first and second shift skilled Assemblers to join our team in Danbury NH. Compensation starts between $19.00 - $21.00 per hour for non-experienced workers, plus supplemental pay opportunities. A review will take place after 90 days, that may lead to additional compensation. Although experience is not required, the ideal candidate will have some knowledge in carpentry and working with power tools while being \"safe-minded\". Blueprint reading and frame carpentry skills are a plus.
Responsibilities include building and assembling wood structures using various tools and equipment. Handling heavy lifting and moving of materials is required.
Requirements include daily in-person attendance, proficiency in using power tools and equipment, being comfortable with heavy lifting requirements and knowledge of safety procedures when working with heavy machinery and tools.
