Liberty Waste Solutions is looking for a dedicated Commercial Driver - (Front Load) to join our team and deliver exceptional waste disposal and recycling services in the Fayetteville market area!
As a member of our team, your role:
As a Commercial driver, you will transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License), a clean driving record, and a commitment to safety, timeliness, and excellent customer service.
- · Operate commercial vehicles (e.g., box trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds) to transport goods to and from specified locations.
- · Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- · Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report any mechanical issues.
- · Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and customer paperwork.
- · Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and secure transport.
- · Communicate with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse personnel effectively.
- · Follow company procedures for delivery, pickup, and vehicle cleanliness.
- · Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies at all times.
Minimum requirements we look for:
- Valid Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)-2years with a clean driving record (preferred)
- A CDL driver with waste management industry is a plus
- Knowledge of local geography and road networks, although not required
- An understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to operate a waste collection vehicle and its controls
- Good communication
- Great customer service skills
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and operating equipment
- Perform in all weather conditions to meet / exceed customer expectations
- Must be able to safely lift and move 50lbs or more at a time as you assist the helper assigned to the truck
- Able to sit in truck cab for extended periods of time. You must get out and help the helper when needed.
