Overview

Walker Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking an experienced and hands-on Plumbing Manager to oversee field operations, manage job performance, and lead technician development. This role balances field expertise with strategic leadership—you’ll ensure projects are completed with technical precision, compliance, and customer satisfaction, while mentoring your team to grow and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and support plumbing field teams to ensure timely and high-quality completion of projects.

• Provide hands-on technical leadership—perform ride alongs, resolve job issues, and ensure work meets code and company standards.

• Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations for plumbing staff.

• Coach technicians through troubleshooting, skills development, and career growth.

• Oversee tool and material inventory; ensure teams are prepared for each job.

• Enforce safety protocols, training, and compliance across all plumbing operations.

• Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5 years of plumbing experience with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

• Current Journeyman or Master Plumber License (or ability to obtain).

• Strong understanding of local plumbing codes, OSHA safety standards, and home services workflows.

• Proven leadership and communication skills.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
