Role Description The Medical Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashua, NH. This position is responsible for greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining a welcoming, organized front desk environment. Daily tasks include answering and routing phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, verifying patient information, and collecting necessary documentation. The role involves coordinating patient flow between the front desk and clinical staff, updating electronic records, and assisting with insurance and billing inquiries as directed. The Medical Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator also supports patient communication, provides clear instructions for visits and procedures, and ensures confidentiality and compliance with office policies.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong receptionist and front desk skills, including Receptionist Duties and experience in a Medical Office setting.
• Candidates should possess skills in Appointment Scheduling and managing patient calendars accurately and efficiently.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and Phone Etiquette skills when interacting with patients, families, and staff.
• Candidates should possess a working knowledge of Medical Terminology to support efficient patient intake and coordination.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in a medical or dermatology/plastic surgery office, familiarity with electronic health record systems, strong organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality, work collaboratively in a team environment, and provide professional, respectful customer service to a diverse patient population.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or training in healthcare administration or medical office assisting is a plus.
