Job Summary

Duties
- Assist in managing daily golf maintenance activities, including mowing, bunker detail, course set up, irrigation, drainage, and pest control to keep the course in top condition.
- Support irrigation system operation and troubleshooting to ensure optimal turf health and water efficiency.
- Supervise and coordinate landscaping projects, including construction, tree care, and renovation efforts, ensuring timely and quality completion.
- Oversee daily golf course operations such as fertilzer and pesticide applications, cultural practices, employee supervision, soil moisture management, and all details related to the golf course.
- Lead gardening and horticulture initiatives by planting, pruning, mulching, and maintaining flower beds and landscape features.
- Supervise staff involved in landscape maintenance tasks, providing guidance on best practices in landscaping, turf care, and equipment operation.
- Conduct regular inspections of the course grounds to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or golf course groundskeeping with a focus on turf management.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of golf course maintenance practices, irrigation systems, horticulture practices, and general maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with construction projects related to course improvements or renovations.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate team members and coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment or materials and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
