Be a part of something from the ground up. Veterans Club is currently under construction and seeking motivated individuals to join our Seasonal Grounds Staff. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the early stages of a premier golf course.
About the Role: As a member of the construction-phase grounds team, you'll support grow-in and early-stage turf establishment, assisting with the transition from construction to playable course conditions. This is a great role for those who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and want to learn more about golf course development and agronomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with sod installation, seed establishment, and irrigation setup
- Hand-watering and moisture management of newly seeded/sodded areas
- Operate mowers, utility vehicles, and other turf equipment as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and instructions from the Superintendent and staff
Ideal Candidates:
- Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Can follow directions and work independently or with a team
- Are comfortable with physical labor, walking, lifting, and repetitive tasks
- Have landscaping, turf, or construction experience (preferred but not required)
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license
Details:
- Season runs approximately March to November
- Morning shifts starting around 7:00 AM
- Pay: $16-$18 an hour based on experience
