We're Hiring: Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) | Part-Time | Central CT
Walden Environmental Engineering is growing — and we're looking for an experienced CIH to join our Connecticut EHS consulting team on a flexible, part-time basis.
This is a meaningful opportunity for a seasoned industrial hygienist who wants high-quality consulting work with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule.
What You'll Do:
→ Lead IH projects from proposal through final report
→ Design and execute occupational exposure assessments (air, noise, IAQ)
→ Interpret data and prepare technical reports for diverse clients
→ Guide clients on OSHA, NIOSH, ACGIH, and EPA requirements
→ Work with manufacturing, labs, schools, municipalities, and more
What You Need:
→ Active CIH credential (required)
→ 5 years of IH experience in consulting or complex industrial environments
→ Bachelor's in IH, EHS, chemistry, engineering, or related field
→ Strong technical writing and client communication skills
→ U.S. citizenship (required — work at security-restricted facilities)
→ Clean driving record and reliable vehicle
