Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial tractor-trailers across extensive routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and route information to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
• Follow route schedules diligently while adapting to changing conditions to meet delivery deadlines consistently.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record.
• Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight pick-up and delivery.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles comfortably and safely.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving.
• Physical ability to handle freight handling tasks including lifting and securing cargo.
