Role Description
This is a full time position in Troy, MI. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to attorneys and clients. We are a small boutique law firm and we pride ourselves on representing our clients with the utmost care and skill. We expect our paralegal to be hard working, detail oriented, and charismatic.
Qualifications
- Assist in the preparation and drafting of legal documents, including deeds, wills, trusts, and probate documents
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records using document management systems like Clio and Microsoft Office
- Support attorneys by organizing client materials and documents via Adobe Acrobat and other similar software
- Answer and respond to client phone calls, emails and questions
- File deeds and other paperwork via eFiling systems
- Perform data entry for estate planning client matters
- Provide executive administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Collaborate and work with other team members
- Conduct signing meetings with clients. Witness and notarize legal documents
